i don't think do a police report will solve d prob... cuz wit d receipt u had..(tranferring slip) u cannot relly on that.. there's nothing legal bout tranferring to other people's account.. that fellow (the con) can deny evrything.. u hav to figure out something else dude..

Why bump this back up? It's been such a long time and it seems that no result has came out of it. I'll be very honest with you here and hope you won't be offended but take this as a very hard lesson learnt.
1- you are a fool to bank in money without taking the products first. We are the customers. The sellers will have to be the one to take the risk and send the products first before getting payment. Else, don't deal at all.
2- that battlegear bastard is a bastard himself. Nothing more to say about him other than he being a bastard. Maybe he will suffer soon enough or his wife or kids of his loved ones.
The lesson to learn here is very simple. Buy the products face to face. Take the product on the spot and pay on the spot face to face. No bank in and all those kind of pigshit. If cannot meet the person face to face, then don't buy. Is it that important that you MUST buy it? Is it that if you don't buy it, you will die? No, right? So don't be so desperate to bank in money like that. If everyone who gets cheated or easy to get cheated learn to use their blardy babi brains, then the cheaters know that cheating won't work anymore.

basically i dont really agree with wat u're saying... & i do feel tat wat u're saying has offended those ppl who actually successfully make any dealing completed around this forum.
ppl deal this way mainly bcos of 1 word, "trust". this is a simple & basic instinct tat we all hav, jus depends on how much u wan to use in ur own 100% trust over somebody else.
its jus another mistake i can say done by ming_fds. I personally met this kinda asshole b4 in ZTH, i lose more, i lost my sport rim+engine+gearbox. :) yea i admit i trusted the asshole too much, i shouldnt hav. but i must say, my intention was good, cos i trusted him but too bad he took tat advantage. (yea, hes still a UK studied bloody mxthxr fxxcking chinese). until now i still cudnt get wat belongs to me back & its more than a year & half already. its ok for me now, cos i no definately something wud happen to him.

for the remaining, since u no where his shop is, do claim back some other performance parts from him tat worth the same price. if not, just report to police, police will make him very very 'mafan'.

i've done alot of deal in zth, part of my "big" customer like grexer and khwong. i often sell thing to grexer back thn and each item cost at least rm500 onwards and everytime he fully bank into my acc before i send over. There are times i even late send out.
Talk about late send out, there is this bro from toyota thread who bought a set of suspension from me. due to my work schedule (work in spore), i cant send the stuff out as i promised and agreed to refund him. that is 3 weeks plus later only i bank in money back to him.
most recent is khwong. i bought alot of stuff from him also i fully bank in amount of money before he send to me. but he took the initiative to purchase the barang from shop before i even pay him. but i nvr play him out in fact owe him big time of favor.

hahaha This is the biggest joke ever. I don't even know who he is and if I did find him before you find him, he'll probably have a taste of what it's like to be a cheater. And too bad if you think my mother didn't teach me because basically, it's not your concern whether she did or she did not. And since you touched on that, I think your mother didn't teach you to be smart enough too. Guess it takes one to get to know another.

I say it like the way I did because there's just too many similar case that's happening and it just seems that there is no improvement to it. I myself have had successful non-face-to-face trades but of small amounts which doesn't bother me if I lose it. I say it hard and crude because I want to make a solid point across.
With continued cases like these, the cheaters will continue to work and the amount of victims will increase. If cheaters finally get cheated themselves, that's fine. But if innocent victims gets cheated, I'm pissed. When I'm pissed, I blow my mouth because I'm basically sick of being in "closed doors" when expressing dissatisfaction over something, particular in this country (I believe you know what I mean). I knew my post would offend people but in short, the reason for me blowing it all out with such fire is because I'm seriously not into seeing innocent victims being cheated.
On the other hand, I'm sure there are legitimate ways to work around this but considering the state of the country, honestly and personally, it'll probably take eons before the cheater gets caught and even after he gets caught, he would've spent all the money and the products would well be gone.
Kudos to the select few who have had continuous success in trading online without meeting the trader face to face. But really, I've got my reasons to post such blasting posts and it won't come any lesser even if people are against it, simply because what I post is my personal opinion and I don't live my life to please people just because of an internet posting. There are people who offended me for no reasons even though I didn't do anything at all in the very first place but I just ignored them (unless I feel like having some fun/adventure/mental exercise/etc) because what they post is only what they think and not what the whole world think.
In all case then, if anybody is offended still, then my apologies. I never did expect anyone to feel the kind of anger when seeing cases like these.

Trust have to come down to a certain extent. there should be a border line. I don't know you you don't know me what trust is there? If it's an item less than RM100, maybe I can live with it if I fell prey. But if it's over RM1000; you think I trust that easily?!....sorry....reality check...you don't know me I don't know you...remember. So facts of life; learn to trust with cautions.
