ANyone Got idea about this things ? ..It connected from brake pump hose then go thru this thingy ...correct me if im wrong...

I believe it's just cosmetics... no real performance gained.. unless the fabricator of this tank has solid facts and proof it works.

If me, I'd save some money to upgrade the braking system step by step if budget is limited. Such as steel braided brake hose, better brake pads and rotors. If budget allows, a better caliper is the best option.

use double DIN brake pump RM200 kaodim.... braking improvement is 60%

not to mention ... once u improve yr servo pumps, make sure u check yr brake lining first.. else it'll burst coz of the increased pressure... best to get steel braided

This tank will increase the vacuum reservoir. Some hv found it to improve braking a bit. Others install it on the PCV valve hose and find improved throttle response.

Make sure all the hoses are secured well if installed on the brake vacuum hose, as u don't want it to be leaking or coming off and getting no vacuum assistance when braking!

How much is the twin servo brake pump ?

depends on what car u driving la... for example, wira can take evo twin layer servo... iswara can take vr4 twin layer servo...

this air tank has been around since the late 90's.i'm not sure whether it really
improve ur brake or not but some of the user claim it works.at first i thought
it increase ur air volume like having a twin brake servo.

Ya ... my frenx also installed this ... they sed improve in brakingla.... somemore they using bigger rims ...17" on wira....they sed really helps alots..

Hi bro,

The vacuum helps pulling the diaphragm inside the servo maa, right? The cross section area of diaphragm that counts lo. What does an external tank do? :hmmmm:

If increase volume with tank means it needs more time to get the hoses vacuumed for assistance hence more sluggish. :hmmmm:

Correct me is i am wrong.

purpose of the pump to increase vacuum capacity.
so when brake applied frequently in short time, theres still much more vacuum assist to the servo.
its like vacuum storage.
but this is just theory. donno help or not.
check valve/1way valve need to be install between manifold n the tank. (usually use the stock one)

btw, my h.cut did came with the "tank". not installing it yet when converting. no place to mount it nicely.. heheh

Pressure = Force/Area

Pressure from vacuum is constant/same

Area of the diaphragm is constant/same

Then Force would be the same to assist the braking

The tank will increase the vacuum pressure? :hmmmm:
