Guys,

Plan to go light weight rim to replace on my existing heavy JRD rim.
RPF1 with 4.4kg / rim quoted RM2400. However, Lenso with 5.8kg / rim quoted RM 1100.

Understand that Lenso is mfg from Thailand, and is quite fresh for me on the rim quality. Therefore, would like to ask for opinion on Lenso rim. Any user here? can share? Thanks.:hmmmm:

i'm no lenso user.i use wedsport.for me,lenso is a good wheel n worth buying.
light n reasonably priced.

I agree with sify GT Auto. Worth buying. I used Lenso once before, 16" and 2 pcs design.

boyzone,

Whose the dealer you are buying from ? Lenso has a good reputation. I might plan to change to them in future.

I hunted around the internet for a Lenso Malaysian distributor. Didn't find anything useful until I came across this company called Kai Shen Marketing and check out the Lenso Maglite wheel :-

It's the same wheel that was used by my friend Bill Sherwood when he participated in Merdeka Millennium Endurance race :-

I guess it must be one of the lighter Lenso wheels and it certainly looks really good. Pity I can't use it since my car PCD 114.3 and the Maglite is a PCD 100. I saw a set with my own eyes before fitted to another Corolla and the minimalist 4-spoke design is very attractive on the car since you can see all tthe brake-discs and calipers.

lenso is good and cheap. i'd put them on par or better than taiwan manufacturers. they also OEM to a US brand and sold in the states under that brand.

depending on your car and colour, i would select the RPF1 if its suitable. especially if its the white one and your car is yellow, blue or black.

There is a Lenso Shop in TTDI. right next to shell.. from KL on the way to 1utama.. u won't miss it

it's owned by CKL i think

FVel,

I get from one of the tyreshop from Penang. Btw, I still huntting other shop for pricing comparision.
Btw, My Satria also running with 114.3. Therefore, need to go to change my PCD first
Maglite is 2005 model.. Not sure on the rim weight.

i don't know about u guys but i don't find mag light to be "light".:).i think
"light-2"and "VPD" is the lightest among lenso wheel but that just me.
u guys can go to their distributor and lift it by urself.:)

I will bring weight machine to there when I want to purchase.
Maglite have a great look, and of coz, still no idea with the weight.
So far, I only know 1 rim ( like Light-2 ) with 5.8kg quoted with 1.1k for 15 inch , and VPD is another rim which is have a good rating from web.

Now, the most important for me is look for the authorize dealer

hehe....I am also seriously considering converting to PCD 100. All the really nice rims are almost exclusively PCD 100.

Just for general info for lenso maglite rims (spec for 15")

Spec:15 Inch x 7 J
PCD:4 Holes x 100mm

Will keep you in view bro. I'm running 14" at the moment. Once I wear out the rubbers, will start hunting for suitable 15".

I hear that 4x114.3 will shift to either 5x100 or 5x114.3. Therefore, latest new rim are design with 4x100 and 5x100 / 5x114.3 only.:hmmmm:

Anyway, will go to change back my PCD by nextweek.
