Chic youths in flashy cars: Cops smash investment scam

If what you said is true that...then why so many ppl will say that MLM is scam and cheaters? if say 10 ppl say its bad well I would still doubt about it but when almost the whole community is saying MLM is bad then.....how to explain that....

My friend experienced it...my brother in law also experienced it....when he just joined in...he was like brainwashed....keep asking for money....not a small sum you know....

If they are not scammer...why police crack them down? why I don't see a lot of people signing up for such thing?

TR relax...you are arguing with a MLM member right now if im correct..and to Newbienissan...if you are saying so it shows how 'deep' you know about the fair law against MLM...no one say MLM is all bad la you are too sensitive...study the law or google search it...
so you are doubting the police and the consumer org. ?
they studied everything be4 taking the action...
one more thing...the product must suit the price paid too...according to the law of most country...

Newbienissan : to be successful in these business....what do you need to do?
it's not a money-is-everything world....you'll have to suck ppl's blood to succeed...and the one who being sucked by you will have to suck other's to at least get back their lost....well I know to you sucking ppl's blood is nothing as long as you get something in return...

---------- Post added at 08:45 PM ---------- 6 hour anti-bump limit - Previous post was at 08:37 PM ----------

again newbienissan , you'll have to know one more thing....selling MLM product is a no problem n it's legal....but selling the MLM pyramid system....with price-don't-fit-product situation....like what the 8282 gang or others did...it's illegal...=)

Hmm.... In your defence you're taking as if you're Steven Yeam. End of the day it's still about using Other People's Money to get yourself rich, by selling products which either does not exist or not worth the sum you're paying for....

we don deny some mlm offers good products at the same time expanding their network via stockist and recruitment. e.g cosway, amway, etc.... joining member is not expensive and products are all approved by the ministry of health. for any amount u paid, the stocks will be supplied and u make money by selling them...members get discount too. its a very straight forward dealings.....
but for a HUGE amount of money to be given and then brainwashed to ask for another big sum of money from others by a phantom promise to richness...i think doesnt make sense la.

work yr way up for yr meal...not asking ppl to give money then get rich. it reminds me of ppl asking for rm1 when we having meals at sidewalk cafe etc...

just saying my piece ok....peace!

Really memalukan la this kind of ppl... cheating on people's money to live..and sadly...most of the cheated people are young malays working with government... no offense to malays as i myself is a malay too...

for those who are cheated by those scam, it's not the scam u have to blame first...
u urself should know and use your brain that money dont roll right on.... worse is those people are young and just finished their studies in college, uni etc..

so stop dreaming young people..dont be sad to wake up from your fantasy and get ur lazy ass to work... nothing's free in this world..u even have to pay to pee

Ok, let me tell you how these guys can rip you off again and again. Their modus of operandi is so simple yet still there are many ppl fell for it. I'll share with you guys how it is done..

In order for you to start this great con scheme you'll need a minimum working capital of around 500K. The higher amount that is available at your disposal the better..to create the illusion of a very successfull enterprise.

This is used to set up a grand office in a chic area plus renovation and office equipment, rental, hiring of officce staffs which will take out the big chunk. Next, you need a title for yourself. Duke or CEO or CFO or any other nice sounding name. You then need a complete make over-expensive branded wardrobe, shoes, watches, CAR, clothing accessories, etc. Dressing up is important because the first impression is the last impression for you. Lets think about it, how can you help others to be more succesfull when you yourself looked unsuccessful? So, this is a must spend. No holding back in this area.

2nd stage, you must have a marketing plan. No its not the normal business marketing plan BUT the pyramid marketing plan. And this plan is had to be a Binary Plan because it is the fastest and quickest way to succeed. You must learn and understand the all too important lingo called 'left leg' and 'right leg', 'pairing', 'matching', 'flushing', 'points carry forward' etc. You also need to polish your public speaking skill, and your presentation skills that will leave ppl in awe and astonishment.

The plan must be so attractive that from the onset it'll attract NOT the investor/member but the 'leaders' to come in to join first. Without 'leaders' to join this grand scheme of yours it will bound to fail. A person is called leader because previously he/she had a group of ppl under him and are ready to roll at a moment's notice.

You WILL give leaders a FREE placing in the most hightest enchelon of the pyramid/plan. Which mean the prestigious title 001. (No.002 and 003 position is under 001 since it is a Binary Plan). They do not need pay you a single cent, but with the promise they'll promote your plan extensively. Some well known great leaders must be given seven (binary 1-2-4) positions in the plan totally FOC. Some will try to negotiate further terms with you, and you will give it without battling an eyelid bcos you know of the potential millions that will flow in later.

Next, at the same time you'll need to create a spell binding website and a your company profile brochure. The use of the website is primarily for member and leader to log-in to see their acc $$$$, to register new member, and to withdraw $$$$. You'll have to spend around 35K for the MLM program and securely hosting it. The brochure need to be made from expensive print material to further enhance your company's status. This brochure and website is used to promote your company's 'product' or 'services' or 'investment' or 'club membership' to the public.

Once this is ready here goes the first run. More people will join the co. now. All you have to do now is make very very sure the leaders' and members' commission is paid ON TIME. This will instilled more confidence that your company is sound and running. Members that received their monies will further inform their friends of this great discovery money making business. Thus the snowballing effects is gaining momentum...

By the 2nd-4th run you'll probably have about a few hundred members each paying 40K for a spot in the pyramid. You need to make things grander now by offering bonusses like GTR-35, FD2R, R8, M6, etc for those who met their group target. Thus the exclamation: Waaaaa...Ooooooo...so many expensive cars lined up at office parking lot.

By the 5th run onwards the members will start to explode exponentially and by this time around you need not show your face any longer as it is on auto run mode. You only need to give a very rare presentation to your top leaders...(you are very busy ma..)

The secret of maximizing the your bank acc is to MINIMIZE withdrawal or payouts. Here you will have ready plan to get existing members AND leaders to re-invest their monies that had been withdrawn earlier and to squeeze any addtional savings left from them.

Now, by this time your must aware your company is catching the attention of the law enforcer and the authorities. Before you left the scene and made the Houdini disappearance you will create the ultimate and grand final push to clean sweep all the monies there is.:laugh::laugh:

Then........................................

Disclaimer: This is not a write up for you to practise and break the law. Do it at your own risk.:biggrin:

well, alot ppl folow rumours, you wanna follow too ? just be fair to urself n everyone, UNLESS you personally involve in any kind of MLM, and atleast work out some result, n understand what mlm have to offer besides money, then it only be fair to say what is mlm about.

not even tried or join or do mlm industry n bang it ?

MLM is a good system if it's selling products that benefits the society but selling the pyramid scheme? or products that are valued much higher than their market price?

A genuine MLM will sell products to consumers without requiring them to join the distribution network. However a MLM scam on the other hand would pressurise a consumer to join. I believe there are genuine MLM but not many out there. Mostly I see is all fake...

You take a look at the those Friends Club, LB, 1 Network..etc.....then you tell me....push ppl to join....keep giving sweet talks....get rich fast la, drive nice car la, keep telling you to drag your friend and family in to join......

If MLM scam is rumours, those cheated by MLM scam is what? rumours also?

I also got approached by these MLM people from friends. Should I try it even if it's a scam? would you go jump into a hole even if you see it?

I saw things happen to people closest to me....and do you think I would not be alert about it?

Then those police go and arrest those MLM members are rumours also?

MLM scam don't just happen in MY, you know...it's all over the world...so all those people that complain are rumours also? Try Google it or yahoo.....

You tell me, if these MLM scam is so great...why I don't see smart people like Bill Gates, Obama, Steve Jobs, Jimmy Choo, Mr Pua Khein Seng, Sir Tony Fernandes...etc....promote MLM??

If these MLM are not a scam, why I don't even see a single newspaper advertisement, TV ad, Radio that promote MLM? you tell me?

Why there MLM are always so hush hush, under the bush.....except some that see the daylight.

Why so many people fail in MLM? do you ever ask when so many ppl fail? I don't think 100% of ppl that join MLM is stupid ppl or lazy people....

Why people stop these MLM after a while, if it's a good business?

Why always these MLM seminars all telling you will have big money in the shortest time?

bro TR, let it be, no point debating about this topic....Everyone should be able to judge for themselves what is good and what is bad...People in MLM are usually brainwashed and can only see their "version" of good...but who are we to advice or even go against... as long as they are flying high.. their mouths will be louder than thou... give them time and when reality hits...it's usually not comfortable at all..

my sincere advise for you is, one fine day when you really looking into a kangtao to make more side income, when you have family n BURDEN, then consider mlm industry.

BEFORE you join any mlm company, do research about the company background. make sure the product is USABLE, benefits everyday usage, PRACTICAL.

any mlm WITHOUT a strong product with as VISIONARY PRODUCT, is 90% a scam.

base on your reply, you definately know nothing much about mlm industry.

what I am trying to say is, everyone has their own cup of tea, some are legal some illegal, some are rightful some are scams, WITHOUT EVEN GIVING YOURSELF A CHANCE TO KNOW WHAT IS MLM. what you are being, is a moth inside a box

mlm business are just like any other business, TO MAKE PROFIT, to make a living. if you feel this business suits you then go ahead, if you feel this business DONOT fit you then skip. is that simple.

im not trying to shoot anyone, but you never tried means you never know. if you dont join other ppl will. not 100% everyone makes money. sames goes to working ppl, you got a degree, he got 2 degree, other ppl got bachelor, NOT everyone is eligible to become a manager or HOD after working together in a same company after 5 yrs. some will leave, some will stay, ppl with right attitude n experience will rise. this goes same to anyone who joins mlm.

if you think mlm is a scam anyway, "Why Should I Join?"
then this is what you think only, may not be the accurate facts. but indeed, this is what alot common ppl will think too.

lastly, why is there only 10% population in the world is richmen, the 90% is normal ? out of the 10% richmen, 70% of them are inheriting the $$$$, while 30% diehard to make their own fortune. out of 30%, half is legal half is illegal.

so in conclusion, overall 5% of richmen in the world work their ass out to become rich and mlm is one of the answer. poineer like billgates or FB founder also might be an answer if you can be like them.

you wanna be part of the 5% extraordinary ppl OR call everything scam, is totally yours to choose. the common ppl around tells you that everything is scam, are they going to make you rich one day, or perhaps sponsor $$ you if any mishaps happen to you? its better to keep an open mind before gangbang something you never knew. what if there were mentors in mlm industry whom was suppose to change how you think n change your life ?

all these beneficial possibilities are SHUT DOWN coz you said NO, coz you listen to common ppl and say mlm is a SCAM.

One of my cousin joined it once, which is a few years back. It was the top MLM brand (Legal) and not a Malaysia MLM. I would say, its reasonably good becoz to be a member or downliner u need to pay a very minimal amount of entrance fees, RM30~50 and this money is refundable if the member decides to exit. They provide a range of product that is sustainable as they manufacture their own product and have it certified by MOH Malaysia. Buy product and recruit member, but you are not consuming from these members. I was very close with my cousin.

Now comparing with the new edge, greed & pyramid fueled system, where you need to come up with a large sum of money RM 2K ~ 40K or to get to top tear levels (where u need to invest more), most of the time, you won't get refunded if u decide to exit. They will convince you to the max for you to join these program or scheme. Ive been 'annoyed' twice. One during Buka puasa in 2005. A friend of mine wanted to belanja me to buka puasa. Therefore, without hesitation i agreed to his invite becoz i knew him for a long2 time. He even picked me up from office, I was soo thankful becoz that time im using a hot car! (cannot parking as i like or ill be posting my frustration in crime & security forum!) we I arrived to this place, i saw the whole building was flocked with people wearing full suits, italian suits, french... whatever... to my supprise, some of my junior in school that was previously problematic & not well dressed even when started working was in full suit..! they drive Nissan Fairlady, rides Yamaha R1, 5 series, skyline GTR. Man! these guys was just 22-23 that time and i knew them from school & knew their family, but unfortunately 5 years ago i moved to a new area and didnt manage to see them frequently.

The most outrageous, a 21 year old owns a BMW X5. Ok back to the buka puasa, I buka puasa with mineral water and kurma , and they say full meal will be served after you attend the full briefing by the Duke. There was easily 180-200 people in the hall including me! hahahahha. After the duke had given the breifing, all of the "audience' were split into small groups attended by the marquis. This part is where they will introduced u to the products that they have and the advantages of the product compared to others. As usual after that comes the magic ala-pyramid diagram to show u how to become a millionaire and extrapolate you cash by recruiting downliners. At the end of the session, not only I didn’t manage to buka puasa, my friend was angry that I choose to fail in life whereas i could be a millionaire in 1-2 years.

Ok what makes me sad abt innocent people that join this schemes is, my friend for instance. A nice guy from a problematic family. Parents divorced and lives with his single mom. We we are studying & during his early days working, he is a very good & obedient person. 5 Months after joining the program, not only he insulted me several times on the fone, but he condemns the mother not to sell her property to make more money. His famous quotes are, 'what for working with a fortune 500 company & have a Masters or a PHD when a guy after SPM can earn 2 times that what you are earning'

At the end, in 2006, I heard he borrowed money from loan shark as his Duke promised him that if he invests 75K at that special "window" of time, he will be promoted to marquis. However, 2 month later not even a single cent from that MLM scheme gave to him, and he was given products instead of guaranteed cash. My friend's family was harassed by the loan shark, his car & his mom's only car are confiscated by the loan shark and later on their home was taken & bank lelong. His mother's monthly salary being taken by the loan shark as her atm was given to them just to protect the son.

Now my friend is at rehab due to drug abuse & head injury due to being hit by loan shark, and his mom ran away. The time when I met him in rehab, he can't remember who I am.... god please help him to recover..... :bawling: pleasegod....

This is the extreme case & true story, please dont condemn me, but it happened to my very best friend..... a family crashes becoz of greed..... becoz of false hope... :bawling::bawling::bawling:

If u guys decide to venture in MLM, go ahead, nothing stopping u. Get a legal & reputable brand. u cant go wrong.

what you have said is true, massive fusion,

i too forseen these, i too stop doing mlm for sometime. from my personal experience, mlm is NOT for everyone. ppl who has bigger pocket can only play this mlm game. but there are ppl suceed in mlm too. some ppl play mlm game fairly, some are greddy and borrowed alot $$ just to hit their target, in the end they ended up badly.

just like there are alot ppl gamble n play stock market. some make money, some lose badly. but they are NOT scam.

in conclusion, they involve in mlm, BUT every steps they taken were own their own and nobody forcing them to take that step.

so, bassically we must understand the whole picture first, find out the real reason why there are ppl join mlm n failed badly, isit that particular mlm company is a scam cheating the members' money OR they borrowed alot $$ elsewhere hope to earn more but failed.

this is to be fair to all other mlm companies, so majority mlm is NOT a scam.

Do yourself a favour by taking this test and check if the MLM you are planning to join is a proper business or just a farking cult. Yes you read that right: C-U-L-T:

The group displays excessively zealous and unquestioning commitment to its leader and (whether he is alive or dead) regards his belief system, ideology, and practices as the Truth, as law.
‪ Questioning, doubt, and dissent are discouraged or even punished.
‪ Mind-altering practices (such as meditation, chanting, speaking in tongues, denunciation sessions, and debilitating work routines) are used in excess and serve to suppress doubts about the group and its leader(s).
‪ The leadership dictates, sometimes in great detail, how members should think, act, and feel (for example, members must get permission to date, change jobs, marry—or leaders prescribe what types of clothes to wear, where to live, whether or not to have children, how to discipline children, and so forth).
‪ The group is elitist, claiming a special, exalted status for itself, its leader(s) and members (for example, the leader is considered the Messiah, a special being, an avatar—or the group and/or the leader is on a special mission to save humanity).
‪ The group has a polarized us-versus-them mentality, which may cause conflict with the wider society.
‪ The leader is not accountable to any authorities (unlike, for example, teachers, military commanders or ministers, priests, monks, and rabbis of mainstream religious denominations).
‪ The group teaches or implies that its supposedly exalted ends justify whatever means it deems necessary. This may result in members' participating in behaviors or activities they would have considered reprehensible or unethical before joining the group (for example, lying to family or friends, or collecting money for bogus charities).
‪ The leadership induces feelings of shame and/or guilt iin order to influence and/or control members. Often, this is done through peer pressure and subtle forms of persuasion.
‪ Subservience to the leader or group requires members to cut ties with family and friends, and radically alter the personal goals and activities they had before joining the group.
‪ The group is preoccupied with bringing in new members.
‪ The group is preoccupied with making money.
‪ Members are expected to devote inordinate amounts of time to the group and group-related activities.
‪ Members are encouraged or required to live and/or socialize only with other group members.

‪ The most loyal members (the “true believers”) feel there can be no life outside the context of the group. They believe there is no other way to be, and often fear reprisals to themselves or others if they leave (or even consider leaving) the group.
