these cars are only worth between 500-1000, but based on condition and originality i'm asking a lot higher from someone who's willing to pay for it.
its not a junk car thats rusting away.

Well devious17, for a person who knows about car business, firstly REALITY CHECK..!! a seller can put any price that he/she wanted BUT can he/she sell or dispose the car with that price? The main purpose is to SELL the car and not to IMAGINE can sell the car!! A sale transaction happen when there is a willing seller and a willing buyer.

To VJ, no heart feeling as it is not my intention to demoralise you or whatsoever but only to let you know about the current market situation out there.

Finally to devious17, I do not mind buying a RM20K Mercedes Benz Kompressor, even if it is only the bare chassis as long as it comes with a valid registration card, for I know that with another RM40K, I can put back the car together perfectly on the road and able to sell it for more than 100K.....cheap maa...somemore make profit....

First of all, REALITY CHECK is besides the point here. You yourself said it is the sellers wish to sell at obscene price and if the buyer (or buyer wannabe) cant afford it then too bad.

You contradicted yourself again by saying

Then you are not a willing buyer but why draging in the RM900 unit for comparison? The point here is he is trying to sell his car at his price and not someone elses RM900 unit, no?

If you think the RM20k Kompressor is going to have a workable chassis only then GOOD LUCK TO YOU.
