Message: <blockquote data-quote="darrengoh89" data-source="post: 1063319884" data-attributes="member: 79630">I'm not sifu lerr ...juz sharing some information base on my experience ...I'm a newbie as well ;) ..For your 4g13 block ...no modification needed ...juz send your block for rebore and do engine balancing ..1 shot ...don't miss the engine balancing job ...else you will regret ...trust me ....conrod and crankshaft use back..so the only thing you have to change is piston..74mm piston is a over-sized piston from a 4g12 mitsubishi engine ..try source at any spare part shop ...yes ...this piston is a low compression piston ...in order to gain back your compression ...kindly recommend you to send your head for high compression skim ...like i said ...if can ..do 1 shot ...PnP head as well ...if budget allowed ....Clutch use back stock ...stock clutch is still capable enough to hold the power that produced from your engine ..upgrading clutch would not improve your pick-up as in faster than before ...you will gain better bite each time you change gear only..new stock clutch can give you the similiar feeling as well hence lighter ....but you can option for skimming flywheel ...skim 500-600gram is enough ...skimming too much you will lose your top end ..so no need waste so much money on upgrading your clutch...with this engine rebuild spec and paired with your 1.3 gearbox ...is juz nice enough to drive around city and touge as well ...later on when you got more money ...you can start playing cam ...tweak the powerband base on your preference ...Happy Modding ;)</blockquote>
