Do i need to swop the ECU as well?

I'm looking for auto gearbox only. I'm actually looking at ck4 or cb models auto gearbox. Just not sure if can plug and ply. Have read somewhere that all 4Gxxx engines and gearbox are in interchangable.
Its illegal to change transmission from auto to manual in my country that's why i wann stay on auto tranny.
