Absorber for em Cars.

I would like to ask your opinion regarding suspensions. There are lots have discuss about spring and such on but one thing that I have in mind.

Here is my scenario,

Firstly,
absorber with aftermarket springs is kinda different cuz the absorber length would be different. And gradually the absorber will overwork and in the long run it be spoilt.. Is that true?

Secondly,
if I change the absorber and cut my original spring, at the right height ride would it be better? I just compensate my ori springs to lower the ride.

Well, im just newbie in this but I would like to learn and gain knowledge so at least when I know what I am doing. Sorry if this question is kinda absurd or stupid but I just can’t help to think bout it. LOL

If using lowered aftermarket springs for original length absorbers then yes, can damage the absorber faster. Why not change the springs and absorber together to lower the ride?
As for cutting the springs is not recommended. The springs have a load range, cutting the springs lowers it's capability, means less tension, therefore your ride can bottom out easily.

Yup, in Modding you can do what you want, but best do it the right and safe way....
