Hello everyone. Hope you maestros can help me with this one. The problem with the aircond is the cars idling becomes rough and jerky (like racing cam) when aircond on. However this only happens sometimes but can be quite irritating  . My car is a Wira 1.6 MIVEC auto.
Any suggestions, recommendations to solve the problem. Any good aircon workshop in Klang Valley. Thanks in advance. :) .

Check your FICD also....Fast Idling Contro Device

ermm..
what is your idling rpm when air con is on..
and what is it when iar con is off...?

Just wondering, how much did u spend converting your MIVEC auto, what was your base car? I'm still considering of MIVEC auto or GSR auto for my Wira 1.6 auto

fren.. i think this got nothing to do with your air-cond la... your throttle body might be clogged with dirt.. have it cleaned.. and see how. Or your ISC Idle Speed Controller or some people call it FICD whatever it is may be faulty.

i'll go for TURBO.. coz if u go for mivec.. soon enuf u'll be power hungry again...

Thanks for the inputs. However I believe its got to do with the aircon coz during the rough idling, I turn off the aircon then idling back to normal. This idling problem only happen with the aircon on and only ocassionally.
As for the engine I've done a top overhaul including servicing the throttle body. And for those interested the engine conversion cost about RM7500 a year ago.

Hm... well, it's confirmed it's your FICD, mine's having the same problem now  idling goes up to 1,500rpm when aircond goes off, and drops to only around 500rpm when aircond is on.
