Alarm system wont unlock the door

HELP:Alarm system wont unlock the door

My alarm system when disarm will not unlock the door, all four

so now after disarming the alarm, have to unlock it manually

central lock also not working, is this the problem? what need to be fixed then?

whats wrong ar?

any advice is much appreciated, thanks

Straight forward alarm modem problem. Go to the dealer who sold you this unit, tell him its not working and he'll do the rest.

earl... how long already u have this problem?... juz recently or already a long time? if u juz install ur alarm recently... means ur alarm got problem... or either the wireman install wrongly... wrong wire :d

happened just last nite, took out the car morning also no prob, last nite wash car only ...

earl-ku, sound like centra locking not working and cause the rest of the door stand still. try to send your for centra locking check

it turned out to be the central locking's fuse problem, changed it - i can then lock all doors from the drivers site, but the alarm arming will still not lock all four doors

check again - the actuator/pistol's problem, changed that - then the rear right side's door cannot lock - pistol problem also ... sigh ...

so what actually caused this ar? the accesory fella said coz water went in to the relay ...

earl-ku, i also have exactly the same problem as u. alarm got sound but door wont lock or unlock. central locking have to do from inside the car also. so how much did u spend to fix this??if not i may consider getting a new alarm set instead

my first move was to change the central lockin fuse - RM10
then discovered the pistol or actuator rosak rite, from what i know the main one, means the one at the driving side is the main and cost a lil more - that only is RM35, the rest should be cheaper by RM5 - 10 ... maybe la

yeah yeah and this are are just normal average pistol, there are some cheaper ones which are RM20 - 25 and some are RM70 and above ...

mine comes with 3 months warranty

Its maybe pistol problem. water can went into ur pistol lock, not ur center lock relay. if driver site can control other site its mean ur center lock system is ok, than if ur remote can't control ur lock it mean something wrong with ur remote receiver box. it actually many thing can effect ur alarm system, if u hv a time u can trobleshoot ur self or u can send it to any acc shop.

the central lock cannot lock the car from inside, even the alarm also cannot lock, have to manual lock all the door

then change the fuse, can lock all 4 doors manually, but remote cannot lock, so change the pistol can already ...
