And from a quick glance, it’s definitely whetting the appetite.The race promoter, Tavo Hellmund, has lifted the layout of the 5.47km track that packs some insane high speed sections to promote overtaking and lengthen the notoriously short attention span of the American public.It consists of a total of 20 turns and 40.5meters in elevation changes including a 1.2km long back straight that will see the cars touch speeds of 322km/h and zip by the grand stands at 290km/h.Although the circuit is made up of plenty of high speed sections, the bits between them include some tight 45-degree turns that will undoubtedly make for some serious overtaking opportunities.The best bit is that the circuit pays homage to other tracks by borrowing heavily from their layouts. An example would be Turns 3-6 that are similar to a series of apexes at Silverstone while Turns 12-15 tip their hat at Hockenheim.
