so my question is what i need to buy ?engine, gearbox and?
without buying halfcut because in halfcut include injection and wiring...
and any problem with jpj?
thanks

What a strange idea...

Why bother with an EFI engine then?

Why not stuff in an old carb engine?

Or do you mean four throttle (like weber carbs, but ECU compatible?)

Interesting idea, but the most of the engine stuff is all electronic.. like the distributor, solenoid and vtm...

Why need a carb? Better run quads with TPS based mapping instead of carb.. I think that's the closest setup to a carb unit.

Anyway.. I've been reading up on quad throttle tuning.. seems like there's two types of mapping available on some aftermarket ecus.. one is map based mapping, where the x-axis is based on vaccuum, and another is TPS %.. but I don't understand how the TPS can get an idea of fueling on higher loads without referencing the vaccuum... must be related also, but just the way the ECU references the values on the maps are different.

Still more to study... but so far, since it doesn't have an idle air valve (unless install it on the vac-log, if it's even possible?) it should be tricky to use with A/C and P/steering, as the idle speed must compensate the extra load of those two ancillaries.

normally it will refer to the vacuum against or maybe they will automatically convert the vacuum value to the tps position.. not sure about that...
