B8 180 With 1.6 Gearbox

hi all,

currently i was driving mazda sedan 1.6 manual. If i getting B8 180 n use back my gearbox maybe like upgrade to semi-race or race cluth. Will it able to handle the power from the B8. let said the engine running standard n standard boost.

how true is that turbo car is not good for crusing at highway?

better go for b6t n tx3 1.8....
even u running on low boost,1.6 gb cant handle this turbo power!!! :D

ya ...true also al...
but lately more n more B8 on the road now....
the tx3 n b6t gb like a gold piece in the chop shop now..
getting one gb will also cost a bomb already

hi bro
not only tx3 gearbox that u can used...perhaps for the moment u still can used the 1.6 gearbox...u also can used 626 gearbox,lynx 1.8,lantis 1.8,b6t gearbox....mine also used 626 gbox...so far can stand 210 power..make sure use the correct gbox oil....tataaaaa

Don't coz im using 1.6 g/b but cant grap at all so pls use 1.8 g/b

if your standard engine is alreay DOHC engine + DOHC gbox, then you can still use that gbox.. if its SOHC engine, then your ori gbox will not stand the torque from b8t man.. if you want still can, need to use custom made clutch plate, but it will not last long..
