ECU reverting back to normal after sometime??

Want to ask for your advice. I heard from someone that a piggyback ECU would revert back to it's original settings after 30k to 40k thus resulting in a loss of power and the person...

speed signal for speed meter

hi.anybody know where to tap speed signal for my pivot speedmeter.i tried many places but to no avail.my car is rs200 5spd auto.i currently tap the wires from underneath steering console where the abs box is located...
