bearing sound

i just had change tensioner belt and auto tensioner for my stream rn6..after change it,when drive and rev i heard sound like bearing...i went to honda svc centre and they suspect sound from alternator.....now i not sure the bearing sound is come from inside alternator or tensioner bearing at alternator....
i hope honds2 hustler can give some advice to setle it

Put a long screw driver touching the alternator then put your ears to the other end and listen. If sound from there it will amplify and you will hear it clearly. Crude way but this is one way can listen and tell. Saw my mechanic doing it....
