Beep beep (strange beep)

Sometimes when I am driving the car in a spirited fashion my Airtrek emits a single two-beep beep (beep beep). It doesn't seem to be related to any specific driving, there are no lights on the dash and there seems to be no ill effects. Its a pretty quiet beep; much quieter than the reversing beep.

Has anyone else encountered the same thing, or have any idea what it means?

I don't drive an Airtek but is this beep similar to the one when car doors are left ajar? On some cars, the switch located under the bonnet isn't sitting properly & going over road bumps triggers a momentary beep.

i know when i lock my car rear window not properly closed, it will make a beep beep sound.. similar to your case..

Parakey is correct. Maybe your driver's door ajar is loose. When you bump agressively, the door ajar came ON and with your car key inserted, it will beep beep.
