Message: <blockquote data-quote="xtremeleo" data-source="post: 1482668" data-attributes="member: 18941">from the manufacturer, the discs have tolerence to what width (usually stated in mm on the disc) they perform best, minimumly, witout compromising safety ie discs cracks. u have to look carefully around ur disc bro to confirm what is the minimum width for ur set. if u r using the disc ABOVE the minimum width, then its good to use.as for me, i didnt skim my discs set when changing to my current bendix set. it bites from the first time i drove wit the set fitted in, and still bites hard now. no, doubt dat other more expensive brand such as ferodo and EBC bites harder, but wit the price i got for my set, iam happy wit it. braking from 180~70kmh is no biggy, everytime. take note, dis is the performance i get wit a 1.3liter turbo motor, wit a 800+kg car. dont expect the same performance when u fit dis set in say.. a supra, or a heavier carget d right set for ur car, i dont think u need bendix metal king gold (now, there is the plus edition, bites even harder. i dont necessarily need dis set, but wud be a good invesment for safety purposes), maybe u shud try the new bendix set, titanium strip. wit dis set, u dont need to skim u discs when changing pads. i can get a very good price for dis set(s), just gimme a call when u need assistance on the weekend (mostly satrudays, sundays r for family. hoho..) 0163571811, cheers</blockquote>
