Dear All,

I have been having a plan on mind to purchase a Wira 1.5 for the sole reason to rent it out and make some profit from it.

Please share your thoughts on this matter.

All thoughts would be highly appreciated.

Regards,

Not advisable... I hv a fren who does this biz... car always abused by renters and ended up with lots of repair bills... Malaysian mentality not like Europeans or Japs. Once his car stolen by renter and was used in robbery and rape case... Big headache...

noted . many thanks for sharing.

I second that. Things that is really concerning right now, i can see in FB lots of car rental's owner been posting ic and driving license of the renter who had been missing with the car.
But with that factor in mind, if you are really committed, maybe you can consider GPS tracker? I heard that portable ones aint that expensive.
Maintenance wise, if you have time and effort, normal servicing can be done ourselves.

Car Rental business is really tough....

I occasionally, saw college students car renter overload the rented car by stuffing in 6 adults in the car for jalan-jalan or going lunch...The car absorber/spring will koyak in no time....

Other time, these students would burn the tyres in front of the college to impress girls....

Imagine every month or so have to change these car parts....
