Message: <blockquote data-quote="Mozz" data-source="post: 1898833" data-attributes="member: 33788">hope this can help:my experiences with my R34 as far as sounds are concerned:besides the wing mirror there was1. some loose metal sounds from around the passenger back end. what it was is the jack not tighten thus rattling around slightly and making irritating sounds. just open the boot, left side open jack cover and see if the jack is moving. even 1 com makes irritating soundwhat you should do next is take out the jack, and put your hand into that HUGE cavity. you may be surprise what you can find in there. just make sure nothing bites you :)2. same experience with spare tyre. you should also take out the spare tyre and see if there is anything underneath (screw etc) that is moving around3. next, you can check your bodykit if you have one. sometimes screws that hold it together also get loose and the bodykit rattles.4. the seat belt buckles. since skyline owners hardly take passengers AND the passengers hardly wear seat belts, very few ppl notice that the buckles are ofter UNDER the seats because no one pulled them out after washing the rear seats. these buckles at times if no one is sitting on the seat rattle under the seat and again make irritating sounds.5. finally, like Kenny suggested take the MDF board out and see if the speaker wires or pins are in contact with the body.really hope you find the source man. i know how irritating rattling sounds are.Mozz</blockquote>
