hi everyone, my car got problem, it is wira gsr (4g93 turbo).
just now when i start my car engine, then i step on the clutch pedal,
i hear a loud snapping noise, and my clutch pedal just drop and hang down loosely.
is it the clutch cable broke ? or clutch pump problem? is it hard to fix ?
btw im using 8.5 inch mmc stock clutch.

omg.this is the 1st time hearing this.:_:

if the cable..u can freely press the clutch without any resistance.meaning very easy to press.."soft"

GSRs should be using hydraulic pumps...probably just a broken link somewhere.
If it sounded like it was from inside (most likely the case), bend down and check the clutch paddle mounting under the dashboard. The screw that holds it up is of really poor quality by Proton default.

Just hope that that is not the case. I kena before. Damn mafan. : /

problem fixed. my wira is indeed using cable, not pump. confirmed by 2 different mechanics. change the bloody broken cable costs rm120.
