Need to reset ECU?

Hi guys, I have one question here.. Dunno where else to ask in zth forum. :hmmmm:

I drive a Civic EJ. My car ECU needs to be reset (disconnect battery) after a few months or else the engine will be a bit sluggish...

Is it not safe to change tyre like this...
