Custom wheel hubs and driveshaft assembly

Just want to ask a few questions here.

Will the wheel hubs and driveshaft from 2 different manufacturers match? Example, will a Toyota drivashaft bolt right on a Mitsu wheel hub? Correct me if I'm wrong, the driveshaft is bolted on to the disc of the disc brakes right? And the wheel hub comes together with the disc and calipers right?

usually they wont match...

but in cases like proton and mitsu.... since older proton are based on mitsu design, so some mitsu parts are plug and play to our car...
