Automotive Engineers designed the engine 1st then only decide what type of Lubricant to use in the engine. So anything should refer to the manual of the car, it usually will state what type of wheather should use what type of viscocity of lubricant, the manual will also tell you what is minimum requirement of the API (American Petroleum Institute) grade. Never go and fight with the OEM, cuz they are the one who know your engine better that anyone else. And All the OIL company and OEM doesn't believe in Additive or so call oil treatment. Cuz one basic engine oil already have certain content of additive and base oil, if you add another type of oil treatment , it may be spoiled the fomulation of the lubricant.So which type of engine oil is good for your engine? In USA they always look into the API register logo, U can check whether the lubricant are register under <a href="http://www.API.org" target="_blank">www.API.org</a>. Then you will know which company are under ayam brand and which company are certified.</blockquote>
