My First Trial given to the Front Grille of my car... It was 1st day of CNY and limited time available as I started up quite late in the evening around 5.15pm. Realised light is not really sufficient anymore but I can wait no more. Got a reunion dinner at 7pm. So, as a token of appreciation to PocRocket bro in introducing me Plastidip and also his guidance, here are my work for your viewing pleasure. All advice are much appreciated. My ideas at 1st to do up my BLM, not sure what came up my mind to finally just give a shot at my Corolla front grille instead. Ya, is my 1st time and I became a daredevil, straight try on the front grille instead of emblems 1st  Was kinda afraid to pull the trigger at 1st, but then here are the photos of the process from the beginning... What I noticed is that, best to use Masking tapes that is solid in colours rather than this semi-transparent type, afraid it might go thru since is kinda absorbent. As you can see, some of my newspapers are tape too close to the part where I'm gonna plastidip, which end up half way spraying, some of the masking tape started to come off and the newspaper is blocking some of the edges. So just tape wider range for the sides around the part that you are gonna plastidip. Then only paste those newspapers on to protect other parts from overspray... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Plasti-Dip 1st Coat http://i860.photobucket.com/albums/ab162/Supra_1996/PlastiDIP/IMG-20130210-01336.jpg :hmmmm: Ya...my 1st coat, doesn't look good and some parts kinda missed it.
