Guys, what is the recommended gear oil to use for 2zz engine gear oil? Redline MT-90? Many thanks....

Celica's 6speed manual gear box needs GL4 grade gear oil... most gear oil out there are GL5.... Redline MT-90 is probably the best for us I guess... been using it all this while...

What about the Motul gear oil? Is it good too? Soon gonna raya, wan 2 service kaw2 liao...

what about...75W90 NS

"This GL-5-type geal oil doesn't contain the friction modifiers for limited-slip hypoid differentials. This makes the transmission synchronizers come to equal speeds more quickly, allowing faster shifting and much easier low-temperature shifting. Can also be used in racing limited-slip differentials where weak spring design causes too much wheel spin."

the reason c60(our gearbox) doesn't like gl5 is coz gl5 is corrosive to it's gears....
