how often do people change the Gear Oil ?

apparently, Toyota service centers are so fukked up,

their policy on brakes, gears and power steering is :

ONLY change when KONG.

statistics show : 80% of accidents are caused by faulty brakes, due to corroded master brake pumps.

anyhow , how often should somebody change their gear oil?

i change my gear oil every 40,000km or so ... which is approx once a year laa .. doesnt cost very much maa ..
brake fluid oso i flush out and 100% refill once a year .. dont want those water vapour trapped in brake fluid to jam up my brakes when running really hot .. :D
