[QUOTE="boggysv, post: 2200022, member: 4918"] I'm not anti rich people, but i'm against the idea of a group of rich kids with supercars racing each other across nations. They can call it a rally or whatever, but when every single car breaks the speed limit and nearly everyone is trying to reach the checkpoint first, it becomes a race. The germans did not deport them for speeding, but rather for "racing" and "dangerous driving".. Speeding is fine by me, as i do it myself. Waving in and out of heavy traffic? Going triple the speed limit in a foreign country on a road i am not familiar with? Now that's a different level of stupidity i have not lowered myself onto. What really ticks me off is this case is how they handled the accident. The initiator fled the scene, trying to escape the border. Another participant even had the balls to give them a ride. And the organisors kept quiet about the whole thing until some teams found out about the incident and pulled out by themselves. Maximillion Cooper can make whatever statement he wants, but the fact is that he did not stop the event immediately or notify all participants immediately after a death, hoping to cover up the problem. He waited until some teams pulled out before issuing this statement. His disregard for the law and human life is despicable. Funny how you found the 2nd revision of the statement, because here is the first one blaming the death to "heart attack".
