hi i wanna know how much is haltech E6k now selling??..new or 2nd hand. Thanks

There is no more new E6k in the market because it was idscontinued by Haltech.

Used E6K was going for about RM2,000 6 months ago.

E6X replaces the e6k... IMHO 2k is quite resonable for the e6k since it would have cost you around 6k (with tuning) new before the price adjustments.

i think 2K u only can get the ECU, u still need the sensor and wiring, will cost more then 2K. GT Auto have a good price for E6X, just call them.

Urm.. the contact no is on top of that fierce black Supra!! Location Sunway

What is the prices of the E6X with installation & tuning? My car is GSR 1.8 turbo with wira body.

Are you looking for second-hand E6X or brand new? As far as I can remember E6X should be around RM7000+ with installation and tuning. If you plan to have to have a boost controller Haltech has a boost control solenoid as well which goes around RM300. It depends on your budget as well.

Not that expensive oledi

Last I check (about 6 months ago), e6X was going for slightly below RM6K (install, tune, boost solenoid, everything).

The reason Haltech lowered their int'l price as they wanted to be more competitive against Microtech and Autronic.

Haltech boost control is a pneumatic switch regulating boost at a low and a hi level.

You can't control the boost gain (how hard hi boost kicks in)

So when you are say, boosting at 0.7, you flip the switch to boost at 1.2 bar, its more than likely you'll wheel spin like mad because the boost just comes in like WHAM!!

If you guys plan run hi boost, its better to get stand alone Electronic boost controllers where boost gain is adjustable.

Also stand alone EBC's are able to regualte higher boost pressure

Jst wanted to ask wether E6K has this function??? Sound interisting... one more thing i want
to find out about lounch control and anti-lack.. the function and difference.. thanks..

I'm not familiar with the launch control.

The anti lag system (ALS) is to keep the turbo spooling whilst throttle off by retarding the ignition timing and altering the injector duty cycle.

Not advised to run ALS on street cars because it severely damages the turbo and the entire exhaust system in a short period.

the launch control is more for 4wd transmission car. u can set the launch rpm and boost. like my car is set at 5K rpm, the launch boost is 0.5bar. so when i on my launch control, i will launch my car with 0.5 bar. for 4wd the will feel like ur car 'jump' out, if FF, FR and MR car mostly will spin.

after launch ur car then is anti-lag and flat-shift doing thier work. for the anti-lag system is like Joeker said. if u not really want it function u can off it, then just play fire and sound with it..

Thanks for the info joeker and cyilaw... where is the best place to send for
haltech tuning?? Raftly how much will it cost??

Normally its about RM500~RM750 for an hour of dyno time depending of how much work needs to be done.
