If the police wants to summon you for tinting, you've had it. All the police need is to summon you to Puspakom or their HQ for a verification.
Though you may have a certificate from the installer, those dirt and dust accumulated from driving can cause the meter reading to read higher.

Do some 'stunts', get yourself in the M'sian book of records, then get Datukship. Armed with this Datukship, apply for tint exemption. :P

Hehe actually, you want to tint car to reduce heat, you can make do with something like solargard and vkool but if you want to tint for privacy ' ahem ahem' then i guess you gotta get a coloured one.

i am currently using v-kool, quite good ler.

i wanna get coloured one ler :D

one question though, is it possible to add colour tint after v-kooling,

bear in mind apart from getting harassed by cops, you wont be able to use SmartTag if the tint is too strong

i guess the only way to really be safe from the cops is to follow the rules and tint according to regulations. But that wont mean they wont stop you! :D I dont think the human eye can differentiate tint percentage

im in sarawak kuching...currently heavy blocking almost every single junction so i try not to drive in the morning...if i drive in the morning i scrren down the windows
2 windows to be exact im driving a satria.....

wat tint?? 95% for every single window on my car(including brake lights)....true it may b a wee bit hard to drive at night but a joy to drive in the morning(looks like noon).....was going to work at 4.00p.m when a kancil police car stopped bside me and knocked on my windows(f@rk i dint even see him!!!) and made me RM25 poorer...

whole process took less than 1 minute
1 sec: police noticed me
3 sec: stopped bside me
5 sec: ask for driving license
6 sec: tolonglah boss
7 sec: kuat gelap ini
9 sec:takle
15 sec: ok jalan...jalan bawak laju ye tauke

on average i spend round 50 dollars on kopi o money per month...whole tinting of car cost me 180....the largest amount i have to spend was on a saman (300 dollars) and a potential court case next time im caught tinting my car window
