ICE outside of Cars

Does anyone know how the ICE showrooms power the car AMPs and HUs outside of a car? It uses some type of AC-DC adaptor right?

ha ha .. my fren last time use home 5000watts Sony HI-FI in car put at booth .. he uses DC to AC converter bought from Pasar Road @ Jalan Pasar ;) ... its very powerfull ICE tat ever made ;) ... why spent RM10k for very gud ice? .. when u can puchase HI-FI sets ;)

P/S: make sure u have spare battery and if not only turn on while the car in IDLE mode ;) .. otherwise later cannot start ure car .. he he

yeah..they use an AC to DC convertor...btw, most probably just transfomer and some bridge rectifier in the device to do the conversion. Some better one will be regulated for more constant volteage.

Lasttime i use to play with mini compo with car equaliser and rojak with 4-8ohm speaker...works man and sound also not bad but that was cassette time...:D

erm...tat is cheap way 2 play loh...

like PC speaker...u can get a good Altec Lansing set wit rich bass but 4 car ICE...u wont get anywhere wit cheapo stuff...
a everage SQ amp also more cost more than rm1K lol...

tats y i also stop playing edi...ehehehe...temporary...wahakak
