Flamethrower need gas and its heavy, +/- 10 seconds burn time then you have to reload. only 20 meters range. When you are reloading you're a sitting duck.

Chainsaw got gas and electric type, heavy, short range, and worst of all when you chainsaw a zombie it splashes infected zombie blood back at you. Also you might run out of gas OR the chain gets stuck and then you're screwed.

Katana.. doesn't run on gas, between this 3 it is the most reliable and lightest. Only downside is that if you swing the Katana and it gets stuck on a fat bastard zombie neck, you're again, zombie food.

So, for those of you who chose Katana give yourself a pat on the back, and for the rest.. our ZTH forum zombie education series will continue.

yes for katana.light,easy to weild/carry around,short learning curve on using it, after cut few zombies might get to feel like Battousai/1000man slayer ;)
but need to make sure it's not a blunt katana or you wont get a clean 'samurai/ninja cutting bamboo tree' cut... :P
