Therefore, I consider it does not have any warranty. Last heard that you would need to have receipt for warranty claim and I have no receipt of the item. So I think it would not make any difference even if it comes with international warranty. Feel free to gimme a call for further clarification.

philip,apple warranty activates when u register your product online.if you havent done that...means u still can give 1 year warranty.the receipt is just for return or exchange policy.where do u get it from??

Shaz: thanks for your call on the clarification...it was bought from Jakarta..just flew in last week..

as mentioned, its still sealed so I've not registered it yet.

My price still stays at 1.1k..good news to interested buyer!
