Two days ago I was looking at complete engines from Tomei and OS Giken sequential. Was considering something wild and now I have no choice. Yesterday, while driving to Sunway, my engine went to GTR heaven. From what I can tell, the block is gone and most likely the head. I'm now stuck between 3 options - get a stock engine from a halfcut somehow, get a local workshop to build a 2.8 engine or get one sent over from Japan.The first choice is by far the fastest way to get back on the road but stock engine won't last.The second option would take about 2 months but local workmanship worries me since I'm after more power and I drive hard.The final option is what I would most likely go for but the 3 months would drive me insane. But the peace of mind is what I'm after.Those who know me would know how I drive and for this car I'm after a bit more power than before which was just over 500atw. Everyone talks about 1000hp GTRs but I want to be able to drive down to the shops or to work occasionally rather than own a pure track/drag car. I guess 750atw sounds about right to me. Engines are about 80ish from Japan, box is just under 50 including install. Who should I go to? Should I just try a local workshop instead?Thanks bros</blockquote>
