Dear frens,

My KE70 got this issue.. my rear tyre (driver side) always rubs the wheel arch when go on uneven road.. even more apparent when carrying passenger..

Mod done :

1. Cut the rear spring (that was a mistake) :banghead: but need it for drifting purposes
2. use hard/soft adjustable absorber from my dad's car (problem not settled, mayb because of its old age)
3. change new absorber (still got problem)

i've asked around, they recommend using Honda or Merc spring becoz its thicker.. but when i ask which model, they don't know..

so, any1 here know which model?

thanx in advance :adore:

'kangkang' the rear tyre boleh ke? i thought front tyre only..

Knock your fender to flare out a bit..

thinking of doing this too.. but my car is rusty.. knock a bit, fall off a bit.. knock more, fall off more..

hehehe.. i think need to buy those steel fender.. last time saw in mudah.my.. now, no more..

i ask a fren just now.. he said need to take off the spring, mix & match at chop shop.. find a thicker with more spring coil

huhu.. wish me luck

not sure for KE70, but i did it on my perdana so that it wont oversteer.

the cause if very straight forward. your 13" 6.5jj rims should be the -10~-15 offset type and it's protrude too far from the wheel arch~ a fender fix or rims change only would solve the problem~

thanx..

i've fix it by knocking the fender.. with the cost of lots of rusty things falling off the car..

hope it doesn't crack my chassis anytime soon

KE70 cannot adjust camber at the rear coz using live axle...not independent suspension...rim offset is too negative, change rim or stretch the tyre
