Now, this particular car had its AC compressor belt changed last year (2011) somewhere mid of November because one of the mounting screw loosened (due to excessive vibrations?) causes the engine to droop a little on the right side (driver side) and causing the alarm speaker to rubbing against the AC belt. Thanks to a rapid acceleration to way over the speed limit on LPT. Its already March of 2012 and its just a mere 4 months from the AC belt replacement but, the AC is making noises louder even more. The screeching sound is way too apparent right after a very cold start. Let it idle for 2~3min and the screeching reduces but it still there. The screeching sound Im describing is as similar to what you guys will experience when going into large poodle on the roadside. Its THAT loud. The question is, is the compressor giving away? Im guessing the pulley's bearing is worn out which results in poor straight and linear rotation of the pulley hence the loud screeching noise. Or, does the AC needs lubrication of some sort?</blockquote>
