For the benefit of those who dont know so much about subs, here's why you should get one! A small investment for a sub like this will actually increase your 'In-Car-Entertainment' experience by leaps and bounds. The subwoofer takes charge of reproducing the lower 'sub-bass' frequencies which mid bass drivers are NOT designed for. By adding a sub, you will not only 'hear' your music but you will actually 'feel' it.
Right now I'm only carrying this particular model, loaded together with a custom built, sealed enclosure for optimal and precise response. My personal view is that this is an entry level sub thats designed to please for it's price, and it definitely plays decently loud and low. You won't regret getting this! The enclosure is religiously built to specifications, with an effective volume of 1.25cu. ft. The sub enclosure material is 3/4" MDF. Final finishing with a high quality dark grey carpet. It can cost easily RM200-250 just to built an enclosure like this!
The sub driver is Kenwood's KFC W3012 subwoofer. Plenty of reviews on this sub over the internet, and a little summary about this subwoofer is that it's really a bang for buck sub, and it's combination with the carefully designed enclosure provides for an all round performer, good for playing your favourite tracks, be it SQ oriented or otherwise. Never too shy to play loud when you want to get yourself some attention. Get this, and never skip a beat in your music again!
