to be frank, i think assunta's abit money hungry.. i had experienced with it 1st hand.. my son had high fever.. i rushed to the hospital at 4.30am... they inspected him and bla bla etc etc.. say need to admit.. ask me to do the 'necessities'.. then this fuckin gay reception bastard.. 1/2 asleep.. kept asking... go pay first.. RM 1400.00 deposit.. go pay first!...said in a manner as if i'm asking a bowl of rice from him... i almost wanted to slap him there and then...
anyhow, i paid the 1.4k deposit via credit card... then only they proceed to take blood samples bla bla etc etc...
ok, here's d scenario.. last time when my dad was admitted to Sentosa Hospital, they proceeded to treat him immediately bla bla etc etc.. then only we were billed after he's in the hospital room.... u see, when we paid d deposit (same for my wife when she gave birth to my son).. they never process the credit card slip.. they will return it to u when u pay the actual sum.. or they will tear it infront of u then re-do a new transaction... but for assunta, they processed the 1.4k deposit and asked me to return to get the balance from them (after deduction of hospiltalization and medical fees). When i asked when "We will call u"... it took them 10 days..
Anyhow, in the hospital.. usually when babies have high fever, they will wipe them with damp cloth thru out the nite to lower the temp.... it's a norm in other hospitals... but no such thing was done @ assunta... when we asked the nurses.. "Can la.. u do it yrself"... bagus isnt it?
Anyhow, after the whole thing.. my company informed me tat i'm entitled to claim company insurance for my son's hospitalization charges.. .hence i went to ask for medical record from them... guess wat? RM50.00 charges.. and i'm still waiting.. i think many moons flew by...
I dont know what the government knows or dont know... wat i do know is, if in future any of my family members were to have any health issues at all, Assunta will not be the place i'd go to...
