(obviously quick and dirty means you don't drive the shit out of it until you get it timed properly with a timing light.)Obviously the price of labour and workmanship will seem expensive, and it is, but I'm keeping the car, so obviously I change new so it runs trouble free for the next 5-10 years :PIf you're planning to change car soon, then go and buy a used engine.. it should last for the next few years, unless you bought a used engine that's already problematic.After getting used to the particular traits and habit of the honda engine to the point I can fix most of the problems myself in a pinch with the proper tools, I'm not going to change cars and learn everything all over again.I don't really trust car dealership mechanics to touch my car (if I had bought a new car). Some people do, but I don't.but really, which other new 'normally aspirated' car makes 170+hp with 1.6L? or 180+hp with 1.8L, and over 200hp with a 2L?Other than the DC5/FD-2.. I don't think there's any NA cars that can do that, and last for years.</blockquote>
