Hey Eric have u gave vince a call? If I remember the heavy duty type is ard RM7xx. Give him a buzz or me.
Cheers. :_:

Eric,

ur car too powerful already la... normal clutch can't handle ur power... just joking..

i used to have the problem... rev...1st gear... when i shift to 2nd gear.. full throttle... the RPM will go down... then go back up....

diagnosed as clutch botak.... changed to a new clutch friction plate... OEM ones... and i'm using back the old clutch cover... now it's fine.....

and if i have alot of money i'll definitely put in a Mazda speed clutch... 2nd handed ones cost around 2K plus.

if ur car has power more than 300 hp, put in a twin plate...the power transfer is exceptionally good... i've sit on my fren's car 450 ~ 500 bhp FC... 1st time he was using twin plate... the power transfer... the back sticking feeling ... too strong... but he say blardy hard to drive.. always died off in traffic.... he now put in single plate... easier to drive... power lost on the wheel around 20 % already.

my car not monster la, power also so so and still have some minor problem need to check.
yea guess if i would to put twin plate it will be hard on the feet :( but will get the rite power transfer.
got recomended to go BR clutch, not sure how good it is, the factory is in ipoh but no agent in KL. cheap price for single racing clutch
