You want some advise? Let me tell you this..don't buy it from NAZA. I've been waitin for my Atenza for close to a month since paying and I still haven't got it yet. I've been promised weeks after weeks that my car would be out but up til' now, still no sign. The car is just sitting in Naza showroom awaiting its Duty Papers to come back. Really bad customer service for such a big company. They even took my black windows out (as with all Japanese cars where all the back windows are black) without notifying me. Now, if i want to put it back on I am lookin to fork out an additional RM300-400. So, for any Naza ppl out there or Datuk's...please...hurry up on my car!! Goddamnit!
I paid around RM190K for it. The difference between the Atenza and 6 is that mine is more of a hatch model as compared to the sedan 6. I am also running on 2.3 litre engine with tiptronic transmission. As far as I know, most of the 6 is running on a 2.0. The Atenza is the sportier version of the 6. It comes with full bodykits and the interior is much more sports packed (i.e. Semi bucket seats, different gauges, sunroof). I've seen the Atenza and 6 side by side and trust me...it does look hell different. But for the price of around 30K more you still might wanna consider the 6 bcos mine doesn't come with the standard CD player and reverse sensors. I've been in a couple of 6's in Australia and they are an absolute comfort to sit in and the ride is just amazing (Maybe cos its due to the roads as well).
