Mini-me Conversion

Hi All,

As per the topic, anyone has any experience with a mini-me conversion? What are the gains, whats the cost and where? I know the first thing would be B16 and all..but sometimes $$ not enough so its nice to have an alternative.
I am currently driving a SR4 D16 non-vtec. Appreciate your views :shades_smile:

What do you mean by mini-me? Down-grading?

bro, its something like fitting a sohc v-tec head onto a sohc non-vtec block

Its very popular in the USA. Mine is some sort of it. D16A with vtec head on it.

bro, can you share a little about what was done on your engine? what are you planning to sell? the whole engine?

I am not too sure what actually been done because it was mod by the previous owner. its D16A block, head no idea from what engine? But its SOHC Vtec, air intake/TB not sure, but the filter box is from type r, can anyone tell me how to diff the TB/intake part? The air sucking is very strong & very loud, until i cant stand the noise from open port filter, now change back to ori filter box.

plan to sell the whole engine. I plan to sell real cheap but the problem is how to sent over to u?
