Turbo have low CR at low rev, because they have to cater for the the force induction at high rev, therefore cannot say they have low CR. I have tried running RON95 on the turbo. It runs well under 3k RPM, once it reaches 4.5k it will knock. Have tried ratios of 70/30, 50/50, 30/70 of Ron 95/97, and it does not work. Have to run fully on RON97.However one of my friend manage to source an octane booster for me. Have tried about 10 tanks already and it works. However it is not cheap, but still very much cheaper then RON97 which is at RM3 per liter now. The booster cost around RM130 for 50ml but can treat 10 tanks, so comes to RM13 per tank.
