They shot back at me saying that bills older than 7 years weren't retrievable so nothing could be done about my request.</p><p></p><p>I fired back and told them that it was their problem not mine. I asked for the details 6 years ago, if back then they had given me what I wanted (I had a ticket number) then this wouldn't have dragged past the stipulated time. I needed to verify that the bill was indeed mine and not blindly pay RM800+ just because you said so.</p><p></p><p>They kept on insisting that nothing could be done about the bill and I had to pay. So I just send them an ultimatum : Either you do something about this outstanding bill and blacklisting or I'll bring it up with the consumer tribunal.</p><p></p><p>Followup letter showed me that the account manager had discussed with his boss and that boss asked to waive the whole amount and to clear the blacklisting.</p><p></p><p>Case settled.
