Need help for wira1.5(m)

hi there sifu's

i'm using a 12 years wira sedan, recently i found that my fuel consuption is very2 high...RM 10 can go oni 50 km,.. my engine is a standard wan and havent done any mods..tried replacing the spark plug and tuning the carburetor ..but no difference...can any of the sifu's please advise

another problem is my mechanic claims that the piston ring is already warn coz 2 out 4 sparkplugs have black oil stain...and he claims changing piston rings would cost rm 1k plus...please advise

yea it is doing overhaul, infact it could be more than 1K..coz ma mechanic says ma engine makan minyak hitam...but i was aso thinking of replacing to a mivec engine if the price of overhaul doesnt make much of a difference to the price of engine transplant... :hmmmm:
