Message: <blockquote data-quote="Zenn" data-source="post: 1508672" data-attributes="member: 15503">could be a number of things, lets start with the most probable.does the noise come from both tweeters or just one side? maybe the speaker wire or the passive crossover is too close to the power cable.if not, turn the RCA signal wires around (from HU to amp) and see if the sound switch sides, then u know its not speaker wire problem.u can check the amp gain if its too high, just lower it a bit and see if the noise dissapears when u rev.may also be rca wire doesnt have good grounding inside or in the plug. borrow a spare rca and replace just for testing.also can try adding extra grounding wires to the amp or even the HU to see if bad grounding is the culprit. make sure u grind the paint off (to bare metal) before u apply the ground wire to the chassis (via screw or solder)</blockquote>
