Honda’s bread and butter Civic is due in for a full-model change and the new 2012 model has been teased in this rendering from Honda. It’s not much but this is all we have of a front shot of the next gen Civic, before a concept model is displayed at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show in January.

On the whole, the Civic seems to have adopted a more aggressive front fascia, with swept back headlamps that lend it more street cred. There’s also a large air inlet that sits smack in the middle, flanked by slit fog lights that look to have LEDs incorporated for a more menacing look.

As always though, the jump from prototype to production is a huge one that sees many features fall through the gap. Still, this is the closest thing we have to an idea of the next gen Civic so stay tuned for the full reveal when the Detroit Auto Show rolls around.

No worries..HONDA mostly recycle their chasis line..I bet this CIVIC might use current Accord Chasis or Accord Euro-R (Singapore/US version) chassis..the swooping lines and the physical looks like it,same goes to like current CRV just a jacked up previous Stream, Current City with Airwave and so on..

As Japan already stop selling Civic FD there, most likely the one that we have here are those bulk which have been sent over to finish-up the balance production? Or those Civic came from Melaka?

Here's the video captured on New Honda Civic..sometimes it looks like City size..i really have no idea..take a look :)
