ehhh..... how does the sorento looks like ah ?? got picture ka ?? Wats the price for kia sorento ?

170K!!! areu kidding...its a korean!!! for 170k..u can go for SUbaru or honda or toyota....

When I asked for the price of the Sorento at the showroom early this year, the salesman was telling me about 140K OTR. Why 170K all of a sudden?

at rm140K, it is quite attractive.

i personally go for Fortuner, but it is also a lot more expensive.

it should attract those who needs an SUV but on a tight budget.

i have driven it, and i advise those who ae looking for it to test drive other models as well before deciding.

The Sorento is ok, but still not up to the par compared to the more well established models. my opinion.

Turbo and Supercharge same la...if not where got 140hp.
Fortuner if diesel jz 103hp only.very under power...
and spec very low...no sunroof etc-etc~

ahahahhhha turbo and supercharge may have the same concept but they are two different system loo.......the statement was describing the sorento having both systems, so which is which?

Turbochargers and Superchargers are definitely NOT the same. The Sorento uses a Bosch Common Rail Direct Injection, Turbo Intercooled 2.5 litre engine, pumping out 140PS. Transmission is 5-Speed Automatic with Shiftronic.

it is similiar in a sense of both are force induction, if stated separately. But however, in your statement, itz turbo supercharged.. meaning it has both turbo and supercharger.... got what i mean?

turbocharged = air turbine driven
supercharged = belt driven.

heh heh heh.... Get your terms right.

i've sat in the kia sorento... itz kinda good actually. So, will this Naza sorento be better? or same?

Sorento is a full size SUV. Here are some of its unique selling points. I checked out a NAZA Sorento. Fender flare to body gap, windscreen to cowl top gap, leather seat finishing (stitching, edges, flatness), etc. are quite good. Equal or better than Japanese CKD OR CBU.

- 2.5 litre CRDi (Commonrail Direct Injection, by Bosch) Turbo Intercooled engine, pumping out 140PS, 314Nm torque. (To compare, Toyota Fortuner 2.5 Diesel is only 102PS!)
- 5-Speed Shiftronic transmission (Competitors X-Trail & CR-V have 4-Speed automatics only)
- Active Torque Transfer (ATT). (Like Realtime 4WD but rear-wheel biased instead of front)
- LSD (Limited Slip Differential)
- 16" Alloys
- Ventilated disc brakes front AND rear
- ABS, EBD
- Sachs (German) dampers. Self-Levelling rear.
- Suspension tuned by Porsche
- Dual SRS Airbags
- Power Glass Sunroof with sunshade
- 2DIN CD Tuner with 6CD Changer (by ALPINE!!) under passenger seat
- 8 Speakers (tweeter, 2 front doors & rear door 2way)
- Steering wheel audio control
- Cruise Control
- Leather Upholstery
- Power Adjustable Driver Seat
- Tonneau cover for cargo area
- Fold flat rear seats for cargo space
- Barometer/Altimeter/Electronic Compass Multipurpose Meter
- 80 litre fuel tank!

Suspension is tuned by Porsche (they have engineering consultancy and even developed the watercooled V-Rod engine for Harley Davidson, and do a lot of work for VW/Audi group as well).

This SUV is an M-Class beater in Europe. Autobild calls it the 'M-Class Auf Koreanische'.

i drive sorento ... but not a good SUV.... suspension not nice... it is turbocharged but got turbo lag...... engine quite noisy cos it is diesel.....
