It is basically the RB26 block, modified with Nismo parts, and stroked to 2.8L. The end result was the RB26 Z2, which puts out 500 hp and 550 Nm of torque. They originally aimed for 630hp, but the engine had to be de-tuned after problems were encountered with high emission values.</blockquote>
