MPX Enterprise recently announced the availability of the MPX Wireless Card, a PC Card for accessing high-speed wireless services.
The MPX Wireless Card is compatible with EDGE, GPRS and GSM networks, on three frequency bands – 900, 1800, and 1900MHz.
MPX said the product has been tested with the wireless services offered by local telcos Maxis, Celcom and Digi, and is capable of speeds of up 100-200Kbps (kilobits per second).
The company said its MPX card is suited for users who need Internet access in areas without phone lines or DSL-based broadband.
The minimum system requirements for the RM750 card are a notebook or PDA with a Type II PC Card slot.
