If the car engine suffer from overheating, how to do preliminary check whether the engine need overhaul?

get a compression test done sir, look for oil in ur radiator

first, open your radiator cap, start ur engine, wait till the radiator fan on. if the water get burst from radiator, then u shud go for a top overhaul.

Then, should I do the compression test after checking the water in radiator? If yes, is there any reputable shop in KL?
